Milton C. Jacobson

Milton C. Jacobson and his partner, the late Robert Sorkin, founded Jacobson & Sorkin in 1960. Mr. Jacobson previously worked as an associate for the defense firm of Brody & Gore where he represented defendants in personal injury matters. Mr. Jacobson is a graduate of the DePaul University Law School, and since the founding of Jacobson & Sorkin, he has represented thousands of clients in personal injury and wrongful death matters, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, divorce and family law, and real estate transactions.

Steven W. Jacobson

Steven W. Jacobson has been a member of Jacobson & Sorkin since 1990. After graduating with Honors from the John Marshall Law School in 1988, Mr. Jacobson was chosen for a coveted Judicial Clerkship where he clerked for Judge David Cerda in the Appellate Court of Illinois, First District. Since arriving at Jacobson & Sorkin, Mr. Jacobson has represented plaintiffs in matters involving personal injury and wrongful death, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, premises liability and appeals.

Lynne F. Shapiro

Lynne F. Shapiro has been a member of Jacobson & Sorkin since 1994. After graduating from the Loyola University of Chicago Law School in 1991, Ms. Shapiro worked as an associate attorney with another personal injury law firm in Chicago before joining Jacobson & Sorkin. Ms. Shapiro represents clients in personal injury matters, premises liability, divorce and family law, and real estate transactions.
